Bishop Vasily visited St. Luke Orthodox Church on October 18th, 2026, the day in the Church calendar when St. Luke is commemorated. It was a busy week for His Grace. On Wednesday Bishop Vasily represented the OCA in Georgia, for that country’s 1700 anniversary of becoming Christian. You can read about that here: Bishop Vasily Represents Metropolitan Tikhon at Celebrations Marking 1,700 Years of Christianity in Georgia – Orthodox Church in America
On Saturday he consecrated the Eastern Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Milwaukee, Oregon. On Sunday he was at our humble grange hall parish to celebrate the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy and ordain Subdeacon Timothy Wellings to the Holy Diaconate and Reader Maximus to be a Subdeacon. To both of these men, Axios! To Bishop Vasily, may the Lord continue to strengthen you!
