His Eminence, Archbishop Benjamin, visited St. Luke Orthodox Church on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
What a blessing it was for all of us to be with Archbishop Benjamin on Sunday. Here is the group photo.
The maidens gave him flowers, bread and salt, and cheesecake (a St. Luke custom), upon his arrival.
Many thanks to all who cooked, cleaned, donated, and prepared. Deacon John and Mka. Anna joined us from Annunciation Orthodox Church in Portland, and Subdeacon Leo was also present with his Eminence to help serve and direct. Archbishop Benjamin complimented the choir a number of times throughout the visit. We look forward to the next visit of His Eminence!
